Manchester United, having recently acquired Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, are reportedly eyeing Lecce forward Nikola Krstovic.
Manchester United has been pleased with Rasmus Hojlund‘s performance in the Champions League. He scored five goals in four games. However, he is yet to score in domestic competitions. Reportedly, coach Erik ten Hag is considering additional attacking options in January and is monitoring Nikola Krstovic closely.
Nikola Krstovic, a 23-year-old Montenegro international, recently joined Lecce from Dunajska Streda. The transfer fee was €3.9 million plus bonuses during the summer. While he made a spectacular start to his Serie A career by scoring in each of his first three games, his goal-scoring frequency has decreased since then.
Krstovic has garnered attention from clubs like Juventus and Inter. However, Manchester United’s interest in him could potentially lead to a higher transfer fee. Reports are suggesting that his price has already tripled to at least €12 million.
