Saka won the Premier League player of the Month award for the first time
The English winger is the only player in the competition to achieve double figures for both goals (12) and assists (10) this season, and is being considered a candidate for the Player of the Season award.
The English man played a significant role in helping Arsenal secure an eight-point lead over City in their pursuit of their first league title since 2004.
Additionally, he scored a magnificent long-range goal to help England defeat Ukraine 2-0 during the international break.
Saka beat out a field of competitors including Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah, and his own Arsenal teammate Leandro Trossard to win the Premier League award.
This marks the second time an Arsenal player has won the award this season, following Martin Odegaard’s recognition as the best player during November and December, which spanned across the World Cup break.
