Guardiola praises Grealish amid ‘perfect’ Man City performance

Guardiola’s men were able to soundly beat Liverpool in a performance that the Spaniard called “perfect” as he praised the likes of Grealish and Alvarez

Liverpool made a fiery start against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium where the Reds went 1-0 ahead with a goal from Mohamed Salah. However, Pep Guardiola’s men soon responded with a champions-like performance as they beat out their old rivals 4-1.

The win puts the pressure on Arsenal who are now playing Leeds United and are currently 5 points ahead of Man City but they can restore their lead to eight points with a win against Leeds.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola was overjoyed with his team’s performance after the match. The Spaniard talked about Alvarez, Grealish and their whole performance.

Pep Guardiola: “It was a perfect performance… One of the best Man City performances in these seven years [at the club].”

“I think that this season is really the Jack that we thought could have helped us [when Man City signed him]…” he said about Grealish.
