Tom Brady celebrates Birmingham City victory in FA Cup

On Tuesday night, Birmingham City secured a much-needed win, and Tom Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, expressed his delight to fans.

Koji Miyoshi secured the Blues’ spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 93rd-minute winner against Hull City, permitting new boss Tony Mowbray his First victory in charge at St Andrew’s.

Birmingham’s 2-1 victory marked their first win in eight attempts, bringing relief to both fans and owners. After the final whistle, Brady, now featured in a Blues shirt on X, the platform he took to, lauded the result.

Quoting the club’s official account, Brady shared the phrase “Never in doubt” before signing off with ‘KRO,’ an abbreviation for ‘Keep Right On,’ the famous anthem of the Blues.

Owning a club in one of football’s most unforgiving and relentless leagues likely poses a more challenging task compared to the seemingly easier accomplishment of winning seven Super Bowls.

Brady and the ownership group, who assumed control at St Andrew’s in the summer, have faced a challenging introduction. The decision to replace the well-liked manager Jon Eustace with Wayne Rooney garnered attention but backfired dramatically, leading the Blues to slide from play-off contention to a relegation battle. The Manchester United legend was dismissed after only 87 days in charge.

Brady and the board have recruited the steady hand of Mowbray to guide them away from the relegation threat.

Brady is now acutely aware that the Championship schedule is relentless, with games coming thick and fast. Birmingham is gearing up for a visit to Stoke on a chilly Saturday afternoon this weekend, followed by an FA Cup fourth-round fixture away against Leicester City, serving as a reward for their last-gasp replay win.
