Several Ligue 1 clubs are reportedly expressing interest in loaning Fabio Vieira, the out-of-favor Arsenal player.
Football Transfers reports that Monaco and another French team have inquired about the 23-year-old Arsenal player, Fabio Vieira.
He has had limited game time this season, making only 13 appearances, with just two of them as starts. Hence, gaining regular minutes could be beneficial for him.
Arsenal acquired Vieira from Porto a little over 18 months ago for a potential fee reaching nearly £35 million. However, he has yet to justify the substantial price tag.
As the Gunners, along with several other teams, aim to adhere to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, offloading the Portuguese international may become a consideration.
Vieira initially signed a five-year deal with Arsenal, and his contract at the Emirates will expire in the summer of 2027.
The attacking midfielder, who boasts 14 goals in 25 caps for his country, has accumulated 46 appearances for the Gunners, contributing three goals and 10 assists in the process.
Former Porto standout Vieira, who was on the sideline due to a groin issue in recent weeks, is eager to secure some essential playing time for Arsenal.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that Vieira will make his return to action in February, unless he departs before then.
