Elon Musk, who is the owner of Tesla and Twitter, could come in with a bid of his own to takeover Manchester United.

Elon Mus, who has a net worth of £157 billion ($190bn), is reportedly monitoring the Manchester United’s takeover situation before the February 17 bidding deadline set by Glazers.
There has been reports of “dozens” of parties have signed confidentially agreements to get the data needed in order to bid for a takeover of Manchester United. While the Emir of Qatar has been seriously interested in owning the Manchester United, there have been parties from Saudi Arabia and United States as well as Manchester United fan Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Musk has previously joked about buying Manchester United, back in August of 2022 where there were protests against the Glazers. He has since clarified his comments calling them a jest and adding: “Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U. They were my fav team as a kid.”
As mentioned, Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is a boyhood United fan, is one of the most serious contenders to buy Manchester United.
