Inter is considering Shakhtar goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin as a potential replacement for Manchester United target Andre Onana.
Despite Inter was sure about Onana’s stay, his negotiations with United regarding a deal continues and Inter is reportedly considering a move to sign Trubin. The Red Devils have made a formal bid to sign the goalkeeper and the Serie A side want to receive €60m if they are to allow Onana to move.
Trubin will only accepts Inter’s offer if he assured of being first-choice
Inter News reports that the Nerazzurri have contacted the agency representing Trubin regarding a deal, expressing their interest.
The negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing. In addition, there are also two English clubs who want him.
The agency representing the Ukrainian has made it clear that the goalkeeper, who has seven international caps for Ukraine and 94 appearances for Shakhtar, will only accept a transfer if assured the role of the first-choice goalkeeper.
Consequently, Onana’s departure may be necessary for Inter to meet Trubin’s demand and fulfill his requirements.
If Onana successfully completes his transfer to Manchester United, it is highly likely that Inter will intensify their pursuit of Trubin.
