Massimiliano Allegri praised his players for their “maturity” following their comeback against Torino in Derby della Mole
Juventus head coach Max Allegri admired his player “patience and maturity” after they came back twice against Torino to win 4-2.
Cuadrado and Danilo helped Juventus equalize twice before Bremer and Rabiot finished it off for the Old Lady in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Allegri talks about Pogba’s return
Allegri was overjoyed by his team’s tenacity and their overall performance in the game, saying: “It was a difficult game, it’s not easy to play against Torino.
“They are good at dribbling. In the first half, we made mistakes and went after them.
“In the second half, we had the patience to wait and hit them at the right time. This was a sign of maturity that we didn’t have at the beginning of the year.”
The match also saw Paul Pogba finally make his second debut for Bianconeri. The France international joined Juventus in the summer but was unable to feature in any games due to injury. Pogba managed to feature in the game’s last 22 minutes.
On Pogba, Allegri said: “Nice return, we wanted it and we are all happy. There was a need for fresh players with different characteristics. Playing every three days, changes become important.
“Pogba entered well, as did Chiesa and De Sciglio. Szczesny has reached 200 appearances, Alex Sandro 300 and so there was every reason to win tonight.”
