Reports from Turkey on Wednesday morning indicate that Juventus is engaged in discussions with Nicolo Zaniolo for a potential return to Serie A.
According to Turkish source Fanatik, Zaniolo‘s contract includes a release clause of €35 million; however, Juventus is offering €30 million, falling slightly below the clause amount.
Although Zaniolo only arrived in Istanbul around six months ago, it seems he might be up for transfer now that Galatasaray has secured the services of Brazilian forward Tete, who occupies a similar position as the former Roma player.
Additionally, there are indications of interest in Zaniolo from the Premier League, particularly from Newcastle.
Reports suggest that Juventus may need to offload some players before making significant investments in new signings like Zaniolo. For instance, Denis Zakaria is on track to join Monaco, and the potential Dusan Vlahovic-Romelu Lukaku swap deal could also free up funds.
Furthermore, it’s noted that Juventus is eyeing Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat, but like in other cases, the club would need to generate funds before finalizing any deal.
