Juventus extend the contract of their highly-rated youngster Kenan Yildiz

Juventus has formally extended the contract of highly-regarded teenager Kenan Yildiz, securing his commitment through a professional agreement that extends until the summer of 2027.

Last summer, Yildiz joined the Bianconeri without a transfer fee, as his contract with Bayern Munich had come to an end. Initially, he had signed a three-year contract set to conclude in the summer of 2025.

Due to attracting interest from various European teams, Juventus has acted swiftly to ensure Yildiz remains tied to the club for the foreseeable future.

During the current summer, the 18-year-old was part of the senior squad that embarked on a pre-season tour of the United States.

Subsequently, he made his debut as a professional during Juventus’ 3-0 victory over Udinese on the Serie A opening weekend. He followed this with another appearance as a substitute during the 1-1 draw with Bologna on Sunday evening.

Speaking for the first time since his contract renewal, Yildiz told the club’s website: “I am really very happy to be part of this club. I’m at a loss for words right now, it’s almost too good to be true!

“My goals are to improve every day, working on the pitch to learn as much as possible, to continue my growth path here with Juventus. I didn’t expect this renewal so soon, but I’ve worked hard and I hope I can continue like this.”
