After a 1-1 draw in Turin, Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero believes Inter is ‘happier’ and defends Dusan Vlahovic amid ‘great tension.’
While Inter boasts the most prolific attack and the least beaten defense in the league, Juventus is keeping their title hopes alive by stringing together a series of positive results. They remain unbeaten in the last eight matches.
Del Piero said: “I think we couldn’t expect more. The first half was intense physically and in the end, Inter were happier than Juventus with the draw, but neither team had that desire to give something more. However, they proved to be solid and title contenders.”

Del Piero said: “Juventus are in the position they deserve.
“Juventus and Inter have been the most consistent teams so far and have given the feeling they can go all the way. Napoli and Milan have had some problems, but they can get back in the title race. Inter are aware of being a great team and, when they want, they play well.”
Federico Chiesa assisted Vlahovic, and the Serbian striker silenced his critics with his goal celebration. The 23-year-old had gone without scoring for more than two months.
Del Piero added: “Chiesa made the difference. How many strikers are able to do so?
“Vlahovic? I’d like to highlight that there is great tension when you play for a club like Juventus. He hadn’t scored for a while so we have to contextualise.”
