Paolo Di Canio, a Serie A legend, asserts that Inter and Juventus will actively compete for the Scudetto until the very end, while cautioning that Milan could also rejoin the race.
Going into this weekend’s fixtures, the Nerazzurri hold the top position on the table with a two-point lead over the Old Lady.
Milan successfully narrowed the distance from the leading duo, currently holding 29 points, just six behind their city rivals.
Di Canio believes Milan can still reach their city rivals with six points difference
Di Canio told Radio 24: “Inter and Juventus will fight to the bitter end for the Scudetto, considering the quality and the strength in depth at their disposal.
“The Nerazzurri are the side who ought to win the title, although Juve will continue to cause problems for them, even if the gap at the top does wide.”
Although many anticipate a two-horse race, Di Canio has a reason not to dismiss Stefano Pioli’s men from the title contention.
“We are not even halfway through the season and Milan could get back into the running too. However, only consider them as an option if they exit from all European competition because this squad lacks the depth to handle multiple tournaments.
