Rabiot ‘focused’ on Juventus amid PSG interest

Despite rumors linking him with a return to Paris Saint-Germain, Adrien Rabiot says he is completely concentrated on his current team, Juventus

Adrien Rabiot is reportedly being linked with a potential move back to Paris Saint-Germain, however, the midfielder has stated that his attention is entirely focused on Juventus. Even though his contract with the Bianconeri is set to end in June, Rabiot has been heavily rumored to leave Turin.

Rabiot admits there is ‘nothing special’

Rabiot won five Ligue 1 titles and made over 200 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain during his previous stint with the club between 2010 and 2019, is now being linked with a return to his former team. However, the midfielder is currently fully focused on his current club, Juventus.

Rabiot’s contract with the Bianconeri is set to expire in June, and despite reports linking him with a move away from Turin, he is concentrating on helping Juve finish the 2022-23 campaign strongly. Despite a 15-point deduction, Juve is only four points behind the top four in the league.

When asked about the reported PSG interest, he told Telefoot: “Honestly, there is nothing special. I hear a lot of noise. I know that many people are interested in it.

“But I repeat: I am very focused on this end of the season with Juventus.”

Rabiot is currently the second-highest scorer for Juventus in the Serie A, having scored seven goals, which is only surpassed by Dusan Vlahovic with eight goals.

Additionally, Rabiot has contributed three assists in the league, with only Filip Kostic and Angel Di Maria having recorded more assists for the Bianconeri, with eight and four respectively.
