Inter pursues free-agent Taremi for summer

This week, Inter reportedly engaged with an intermediary to actively pursue the signing of FC Porto striker Medhi Taremi as a free agent for San Siro.

Last summer, the center-forward discussed a transfer, but Inter and Milan were unwilling to meet the asking price, especially considering that his contract will expire on June 30.

He remains steadfast in his decision not to sign a new contract with FC Porto and is already planning for his future as a free agent.

FCInterNews reports that observers noticed the intermediary collaborating with Taremi at the Inter headquarters in Milan over the past few days.

The meeting aimed to establish the foundation for an agreement to join Inter for free starting July 1, acknowledging the presence of competition from other clubs interested in the Iranian international.

A January transfer is not feasible, primarily due to financial constraints and the absence of available slots for non-EU players.

Turning 32 in July, he has managed to score six goals and provide four assists in 24 competitive matches for Porto this season.
