Juliana, sister of Felipe Anderson, has verbally agreed with Juventus for a potential free transfer over the summer.
With his current contract at Lazio set to expire in June 2024, the Brazilian winger can now enter into pre-contract negotiations with any club for a free transfer at the end of the season.
On Monday, page four of Il Messaggero’s sports section affirmed that the Brazilian winger has temporarily halted contract discussions with Lazio.
Meanwhile, his sister Juliana, a member of the player’s entourage, has reached an agreement with Juventus director Giuntoli for a €4 million per year contract spanning the next four years, along with a significant signing bonus.
Lazio has extended a new contract proposal of €3.5 million per year and reportedly shows reluctance to increase their offer.
The free signing of Felipe Anderson by Juventus would deliver a significant transfer setback to both Lazio and West Ham, given that the Premier League side holds a 50% sell-on clause.
In 2021, Felipe Anderson made a permanent transfer back to Lazio from East London for €3 million. The 30-year-old has contributed two goals and seven assists in 28 appearances across all competitions this season.
Furthermore, after scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Lecce at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, Felipe Anderson declined to talk about his future at Lazio, stating to Sky Sport Italia: “For now, there is nothing we can say.”
