Manchester United women have rejected a bid for England goalkeeper Mary Earps from an unnamed club.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have turned down a bid for goalkeeper Mary Earps after her impressive performances at the 2023 World Cup.
Mary Earps was one of the England’s key player in the 2023 World Cup and was named the best goalkeeper at the tournament. The Lionesses lost with one goal against Spain in the final, as Mary Earps saved a penalty during the match.
Earps’ has another year left on her contract with Manchester United and the club wants to extend it. Earps joined Man United from Wolfsburg in 2019. The 30-year-old, who the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award in February, has played every minute of United’s league games for the past four seasons.
Manchester United finished in second-placed finish in the WSL last season. They lost Alessia Russo, but recently signed Brazilian forward Geyse from Barcelona.
