Beth Mead left out of Lionesses squad for Belgium Nations League clashes

Sarina Wiegman has announced the Lionesses squad for two games against Belgium in the Nations League.

England’s head coach Sarina Wiegman named her squad for the upcoming two Nations League games against Belgium on Tuesday.

The Lionesses will face Belgium on October 27 and then again on October 31. They have three points after two games.

Beth Mead has been left out of the squad despite returning to action after an ACL injury. Jordan Nobbs, Lucy Staniforth, Laura Coombs, and Katie Robinson are other notable absences.

However, Keira Walsh and Fran Kirby who were struggling with injury have returned to the squad.

Goalkeepers: Mary Earps, Hannah Hampton, Khiara Keating, Ellie Roebuck.

Defenders: Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Alex Greenwood, Maya Le Tissier, Esme Morgan, Lucy Parker, Lotte Wubben-Moy.

Goalkeepers: Mary Earps, Hannah Hampton, Khiara Keating, Ellie Roebuck. Defenders: Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Alex Greenwood, Maya Le Tissier, Esme Morgan, Lucy Parker, Lotte Wubben-Moy.

Attackers: Rachel Daly, Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, Chloe Kelly, Jess Park, Alessia Russo.
