Esther Morgan talked about her recent experience with the Wales team and previewed the upcoming match against Bristol City Women, who are currently at the top of the league
Esther Morgan, who is currently on loan, expressed her joy at playing for her country again after being out due to injury and gaining valuable playing time in both matches. She also talked about the upcoming match against league leaders Bristol City Women.
“It was a great experience. There was lots of learning done. I just had a great time and really enjoyed being out there.
“I’m just trying to enjoy every moment, taking every one game by game but I’m just loving it.”
“There are different challenges. You’re coming up against the best players in the world.
“it’s something that everyone wants to do and to represent your country is a special feeling.”
Morgan emphasized that playing against league leaders Bristol City Women is an occasion that every player desires to participate in.
“They’ve got to do a lot of traveling. We’re up for the challenge, it’s the games that you want to be playing and involved in.
“If we can get something out of it then that would be great.”
The left-back of the Lasses stressed the significance of having a supportive crowd at Eppleton to motivate the team as they aim to end the season on a positive note.
“We want to be proving a point and finishing as high up as we can really so it’s still a massive game.
“We just want to be getting as many people there as we can. Whenever there’s more fans it really makes a difference for us so it would be great to see as many there as possible.”
