Barcelona manager Jonatan Giraldez has stated that Lucy Bronze is “feeling much better” after she hobbled off with a knee injury against Chelsea, causing another injury scare for England.
In the 65th minute, the defender fell down while clutching her knee and received medical attention on the pitch.
Fans were concerned when Lucy Bronze experienced her knee giving way as she tried to walk off.
She took a few stumbling steps and seemed on the verge of tears as she hopped down the tunnel.

However, she later returned to the bench with her knee wrapped in ice and walked around the pitch with her Barcelona teammates after the match, albeit with a noticeable limp.
During his post-match press conference, Giraldez confirmed that Lucy Bronze is fine, despite her injury appearing to be severe at the time.
“Initially Lucy Bronze was a bit worried about her injury, she felt her pain in her knee, but now she’s feeling much better about it”.
“She felt pain in the knee but I think she’s fine right now. I was talking to her immediately after the game. It was scary at first but right now I think she’s fine.”
